Tokyo International Developers’ Workshop
On 26 July 2023, we will host an International Developers’ Workshop at the University of Tokyo Institute for Advanced Studies on Asia. We will introduce the virtual environment of Hashima and discuss opportunities for quantitative and qualitative research collaboration. Everyone is welcome. Registration is required. 端島XRシンポジウム
2023年7月22日、長崎の出島メッセで公開シンポジウムの２０６会議室（２F）を開催します。XR（クロスリアリティー）の世界は目まぐるしく進化を続けています。存在していない物や人物を3次元の映像や音で再現し、リアルに知覚できる可能性を追求し、例えば歴史教育や遺産保護に活用されようとしています。The Hashima XR project は日本の近代産業化を牽引した端島炭坑を仮想空間で再現しようと試みます。XR先進地英国から最先端の技術者やデザイナーを招聘し、日英の歴史研究者や遺産保全の活動家を交えて、XR技術の将来と歴史教育 について討論します。端島の仮想環境のデモンストレーションと、長崎のコミュニティとのコラボレーションの機会について議論します。どなたでもご参加いただけます。参加登録が必要です。逐次通訳(E-J)を提供します。
Nagasaki Symposium
On 22 July 2023, we will hold a public Symposium in room 206 at the Deijima Messe in Nagasaki. We will demonstrate the virtual environment of Hashima and discuss opportunities for collaboration with the Nagasaki community. Everyone is welcome. Registration is required.
